Sunfish Lake Remodel

In the fall of 2017, we were invited to meet a young couple who purchased an existing older home on a local lake. They looked to PLAAD to help them develop a new vision for the home, to redefine how the home engaged with the land and lake, and to provide generous exterior entertaining spaces, a separate workout studio and guest quarters. The existing home is quite close to the lake, and with the new proposed design, three separate variances were required. We successfully worked with the city planner and engineer and our consultant civil engineer to help guide the project through the public review process, and ultimately secured approval for all requested variances.
